Kindersitze
für alle Altersklassen
Im Auto sind Kinder besonders gefährdet.
Bereits bei Tempo 30 kann ein Aufprall tödlich für sie werden. Die hohen
Schleuderkräfte halten besonders kleine Kinder bei einem Unfall kaum aus. Damit
ein Kindersitz gut schützt, muss er richtig befestigt sein und passen. Deshalb
ist auch insbesondere auf die richtigen Alters- und Gewichtsklassen zu achten.
Die drei wichtigsten Faktoren beim Kindersitz sind
Sicherheit, Handhabung und Ergonomie.
Stiftung Warentest prüft die Sicherheit der Kindersitze im Crashtest. Die
Handhabung (Lässt sich der Sitz gut einbauen und anpassen?) beurteilen Eltern
und Experten. Bei der Ergonomie stellt sich die Frage, ob das Kind bequem sitzt,
ob genügend Beinfreiheit vorhanden ist. Bei der Schadstoffprüfung kamen Gurte,
Polster und Bezüge unter die Lupe.
